Things for iPhone and iPad updated with new Notification Center widget

Popular task managing app Things pushed out an update to its iPhone and iPad clients today, bringing both apps to version 2.6. The symmetrical updates bring improvements to the URI scheme, for better inter-app communication, and a new Notification Center Widget.
The new Widget sits in the Today section of the Notification Center on iOS 8 devices, and provides quick access to the to-dos you’re working on for the day. To enable this feature, open up your device’s Notification Center, tap “Edit” at the bottom of the list and add Things.
Cultured Code’s Things app is hailed for its balance of powerful features and ease-of-use. It’s taken home a number of awards and has been featured by Apple in the App Store several times. It’s not cheap though, with its Mac, iPhone and iPad apps costing a combined $80.
