Apple is continuing to prep for their next generation of phones and new information hints at the A7 chip coming sooner rather than later.
According to CNET, there are reports coming from DigiTimes indicating that the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is prepping the launch of Apple’s highly anticipated next-generation chip, the A7 processor.
It’s said that the A7 chip at 20 nanometers will be ready by early 2014, which means that Apple’s iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 may still be running on the A6 processor.
None of this is set in stone just yet, but it doesn’t seem unlikely that the A7 may be ready in time for whatever Apple has planned for 2014.
